Just the name of this pudding, intrigued me to paint this retro pudding box. The square canvas led me to paint it like a package. Reminds me of having "Mousse in a Minute", many times after dinner.

Maypo Pancake Mix - painting series #14
Mmm ....... waking up to the smell of pancakes on a Saturday morning! What more can you ask for? Found this retro pancake box and couldn't pass it up! I really love the yellows and red together and the animated character on the box. It notes: Great for Waffles. That was always the big debate. Pancakes or Waffles?

A few months back, I painted a Skippy peanut butter painting and sold it on eBay. I enjoyed it so much I had to do another. I changed the background and the size. The bag of Ritz crackers rests on top, waiting to be slathered with Skippy.

Tastee Freez!

Heinz Ketchup Painting - painting series #10
This painting will also be included at the Elliott Fouts Gallery. The exhibition date has been scheduled for mid November of 2008. I have painted many ketchup bottles in the past but this compostiion was my wifes idea. She insisted I paint it with a swipe of ketchup on it. I have a ton of work ahead me. I intend to paint some really large paintings for the show. I will be exhibiting with a Gallery artist Tim White.

Sugar Smack - painting series #9

When I found this cereal box I knew that I had to paint it. You don't find cereal boxes like this anymore. So unique! I can't tell you how fun and strange it was to paint this painting. That clown is to die for! The lettering and layers in this rather large piece was a challenge in patience.

Retro Coke Bottle - painting series #7
This painting is number 7 in my series for the Elliott Fouts Gallery. My wife and I found some wonderful retro pop bottles at an antique store which stirred up some nostalgic memories. She placed an opener on top and thats how this idea came about. In addition, I found an old 7-up bottle which I will do next as its partner. This oil painting is large - at least for me - 16" x 20".
