This vintage colander belonged to my wife's late Grandmother who collected all sorts of vintage and classic kitchen tools and items. This colander hangs in our kitchen.
I completed this small painting (9" x 12" on canvas) last week. It is being shipped to the Elliott Fouts Gallery tomorrow for my opening with David Lobenberg February 2010. I am very fortunate to have the luxury to work with Elliott who has given me this opportunity to exhibit my new work. The opening of the 'Holiday Show - size matters" at the Miller Gallery in Cincinnati, OH is tonight. I was hoping to make it but I have family over for the Holiday and am unable to drop in. I hope to post some pictures from the opening later next week. I hope to make a visit maybe in December. There are some great paintings by some talented artist.

I recently completed this large canvas painting (24" x 24") for the Miller Gallery. I had fun with the comics (you have to look really close but its there). I have several smaller paintings with this type of theme going to the Elliott Fouts Gallery for my exhibition in February. Hope to post those images larger next week.

This spinning top was one of my sons favorite toys as a child. I was going through some of his toys awhile ago and found so many interesting objects to paint. 
This is my forth crate painting. I just couldn't pass up this old jolly Rabbit crate image. I decided to show the age of this old crate with more detail and texture. 
This is my second crate painting that I recently completed. I thought is would be fun to paint this old buck! Fun indeed.

Cherry season in Michigan and I can't resist the temptation for cherry pie. My wife and I have been busy picking raspberries and strawberries the last few weeks. My wife hsa been treating me like royalty. She's canned 22 can's of raspberry jam and over a dozen cans of strawberry jam this week only - now cherry pie - will it ever stop..lol. I am one lucky guy!
