Vic Vicin Feature in American Art Collectors Magazine: Show at the Elliott Fouts Gallery

I was really honored to have the opportunity to be interviewed and featured in the August edition of American Art Collector Magazine for my upcoming show at the Elliott Fouts Gallery. It was really a fun experience for me to ramble on and for the Editor to make sense of it all. I was pleased that images turned out really nice on print (I am always nervous about that). Thanks again for Michelle and Elliott for setting this interview up. I had a blast!

Paintings Shipped for Elliott Fouts Gallery: Solo Show Vic Vicini

Well - I finally shipped and fedex my paintings for my show in August at the Elliott Fouts Gallery.
I am always nervous about shipping so many paintings. I hope they make it without any incident.
I am not a big fan on packing and shipping - I find it stressful. Oh well. Off they go.

Coming this August, I will be exhibiting a solo show at the Elliott Fouts Gallery. Come and see 22 new paintings. The show is called "The Automobile". I have worked on these new paintings for over a year. I really had fun and put many hours of work into each and every one painting. I really want to thank Michelle and Elliott for giving me this opportunity.

Vicini Painting: Waggy Tail Still Life Painting

While I was preparing for my solo show in August at the Elliott Fouts Gallery, I started working on a new painting to give me a mental break from the many automobile paintings I was working on (see my interview in the American Art Collectors Magazine). I composed a still life painting that followed in the same style as my earlier subjects. This painting "Waggy Tail" uses a dog subject instead of cat as the main subject. I seem to be stuck on these vintage tops, boxes and animal tin toys. Hope to continue on more of these.

Oil Painting Process by Vicini

 

I captured a few early stages of a painting I did for the PCCA exhibition. I did not use a time lapse camera which explains why the quality is not that great. I also didn't capture the early sketch and design of the painting. I decided to this a little to late in the process. I figure what the heck.

Victor Vicini Opening Night Solo Show at the PCCA

On July 12th, 2013 I had my solo show at the Paint Creek Center for the Arts. I really enjoyed having my family join me at my opening. My son came in from out of Town to attend and my daughter and boyfriend also attended.
