Marbles and Jack of Hearts
Once again my fascination with marbles ! I have more of these coming this holiday season. I get many emails requesting these paintings from my ebay auction. I have so much fun doing these.
The blue and green are one of my favorite combinations. The red from the Jack of Hearts really pops out !

Chess / Checker Table and Tea Set
This painting was one of my truly favorites. I painted this about a year ago and sold it at auction to a collector. I really regret selling this because my wife fell in love with this peice. The antique chess/checker table belogned to my wife's Grandmother who lived on a farm in Findlay Ohio for 103 years.

Blocks and Marbles
My fascination with marbles has been with me since I was a young boy. It wasn't until in my middle thirties that I rediscovered the spender in their deign and color. I realized that these wonderful objects could make for one cool painting.
The childs block came from my son's block set. I'll never forget how he played with those blocks.

Rag Doll and Toy Box
This painting was a bunch of fun to do. I love the old toy box and the toys within. I wish you could see more of the detail in this unique painting. The rag doll and little doll on the left belongs to my wife who collected these dolls from when she was a child.

Nascar and Pepper Shaker
This still life painting was inspired by the recent craze with Nascar racing. I really liked the colors of the Ragu bottle and added a pepper shaker to pepper it up. Note: When my wife makes homemade spaghetti sauce, she always uses a bottle of Ragu. Opps! Now i gave her secret away!

Art Nuveau Still Life
Several weeks ago I painted this Nuveau painting with a pepper shaker. I thought the woman figure would make for an interesting composition. I like to go out for breakfast on sunday mornings and one of my wifes favorites is an old greek diner. There on the walls is this wallpaper of Nuveau art. This gave me the idea of this still life art.
