This painting was a blast to paint. I loved those old VolksWagens (VW) from the 50's. This painting captures those moments in this dynamic portrait of American history. I really had fun painting the landscape - which captures the dark skies and rich green setting.

With Sweetest Day upon us, I was inclined to paint some of my wife's favorites - chocolate truffles! And yes, I did buy some real candies for my wife. :)

Pizza Sauce and Cutter

This painting is of a pizza sauce jar and a Zyliss pizza cutter. I really enjoyed painting the pizza slice on the label - they make it look so good. I play of color on the shiny surface of the pizza cutter is almost abstract up close.
