Blue Marble Painting

This painting was part of my 4" x 4" series that I completed sometime ago. An art collector and one heck of a nice person recently purchased it.

This got me in the mood to paint more marble paintings. I really like painting these little guys.

Kawasaki Time!

In my quest to seek out old and dated equipment, I came across this rusty Kawaski motorcycle. I thought that the colors and the intricate details of the engine would make for an interesting composition. What I did not figure on was how much work it took to this painting. I never worked as hard on a painting but I enjoyed myself as well. Love all the wires and gears - I felt like I was building a bike from scratch.
