This painting was painted on 3/4" poplar wood. This surface is very different than my canvas over wood surface. The hard and extremely smooth surface is perfect for this subject. The high reflections and in places very detailed still life makes for a strong piece. Throughout the 6.5 years that I've painted and sold on ebay, I painted many tea pots and it is still fun to paint.SOLD
So nicely done! I can almost hear it whistling.
