A number of years ago my Dad and I would stop for a muffins and coffee before he and I would go to work on renovating some old house in Detroit. My dad is a retired carpenter who enjoyed fixing up old houses. I'll never forget those mornings he and I would chat over coffee and talk sports, politics and work. He is 80 now and he still works like a dog. Must be the old Italian blood in him. This painting may seem simple, but to me it is like a froze one second of our time together.SOLD
