Still Life Series Dice and Marbles

This small still life is part of a series of small paintings that I've been experimenting with. They are painted on 3/4" poplar, painted on the sides and ready to hung. These paintings are meant to be fun and full of exspressive texture and color. I will on occassion go really small, but find that it can be challenging to the eyes and to the composition to paint. However, I do like the intimacy the these small paintings bring. Please enjoy.
