This painting was painted on 3/4" poplar wood. This surface is very different than my canvas over wood surface. The hard and extremely smooth surface is perfect for this subject. This still life of two flowers in two shot glasses uses realism to capture a perhaps ideal and surreal setting. The contrasting yellows, greens and blues compliments the cool grays and blues of the background.Click Here to Bid
