This painting was one of my favorites. I just love the warm tones and rich red color in the cocktail sauce bottle. I guess I can't seem to escape my fascination with these still lifes.View my auction
Original still life, figurative and landscape paintings from award winning artist Vic Vicini. Realism art focusing on retro Diner landscape and interior settings. Major focus is on high reflective objects. From figurative to landscape to high realism still life.
This painting was one of my favorites. I just love the warm tones and rich red color in the cocktail sauce bottle. I guess I can't seem to escape my fascination with these still lifes.
I couldn't pass up painting these three danish pastries. This composition - which extends to the sides, is a contemporary still life that depicts a rather interesting design - if you like pastries. The painting utilizes a rather free and in places impasto type painting technique to create an expressive style.
This composition fills every corner of panel. I painted this still life arrangement using thin transparent layers of color and built up the tonal quality to create a rather intense and almost hyper real image. The tomato slices steal the show!
This painting is larger than most of my other paintings (16 x 20) and was fun to paint. I felt like painting a variety of donuts and the arranging them in this composition. I thought is was a sweet idea.
This painting is of two olives immersed in oil on a dish. I particular enjoy the high level of shine and reflection in this composition. The painting is painted on a smooth masonite surface to enhance the transparency.
This particular painting is a fascinating painting of a Vintage Marx Tin Wind Up Roll Over Plane designed around 1957 - the year I was born..
Since Christmas is around the corner I can't help but think of some of those cool vintage toys from the past. This painting is a quaint painting of a family of little tin windup bettle family - not sure on the year.
