This is another painting from my bowl series. This is a still life of jumbo grapes. I went shopping at a local market by my house and had to buy these beauties. I think it makes for a cool still life painting. SOLD
This painting is part of a new series that started a few weeks ago. I was digging around for some light bulbs for my Dinning room light fixture when I thought of an idea to paint these rather simple but yet intriguing subject.
I know that light bulbs have been a subject for many artist so I figure I would add my twist. I just love the subtle neutral colors contrasting again the high reflective and colorful objects on the dish.
I normally paint small still life's but this time I decided to tackle a large size - at least for me. This painting is 20" x 24" on canvas. There is a sense a freedom painting on a large surface. Nice change of pace.
This is another painting from my bowl series. This is a still life of a rich red pomegranate and a pear. The pomegranate is sliced to display its wonderful seeds and colors.

This is another painting from my bowl series. This is a still life of a ripe red tomato, lime and lemon. I love these colors! Anytime I can paint something so rich and colorful I will jump on it. This painting is high on detail - painted on Masonite.Click

This is my second pie painting in this small series of pie art. I pleaded with my wife to bake more cherry, blueberry and apple pies for the sake of art. She, a loving wife, comes to my rescue every time. As for me, I get to paint some one of my favorite desserts and at the same time, I get to chow on sweet pie (That's the life!).
Marbles has and will always be a major subject in my art. When I was a child I loved marbles. I enjoyed the colors the shine and their wonderful spectrum of light. It has been awhile since I painted one of my marble paintings - so I figured it was time to deliver again.
