Betty Boop Painting-Toy Box Series #2

Ever since I was a kid, my early fascination with art was my obsession with animation and toy figures in art. Every once and awhile I did up some toys and just go to town and paint. I realize that this type of art is a little out of my 'normal' style but as an artist sometimes you need to tip your toes in different waters. Hope you enjoy Betty Boop. I made a silk screen of Betty Boop for my daughter on an infant t-shirt when my daughter was born - I'll never forget it.

I really enjoy the array of colors selected in this composition. I seem to be on a kick lately to paint these types of 0arrangements. It sort of like painting abstractions with forms and shapes of various sizes and colors. Besides, its good to eat as well.
