Crazy for Cocoa Puffs !

Back by popular demand - this is my second new vintage food package art.

Cherry Pie Still Life - Michigan Cheeries

Cherry season in Michigan and I can't resist the temptation for cherry pie. My wife and I have been busy picking raspberries and strawberries the last few weeks. My wife hsa been treating me like royalty. She's canned 22 can's of raspberry jam and over a dozen cans of strawberry jam this week only - now cherry pie - will it ever stop..lol. I am one lucky guy!

Here is a still life that I put together from a bunch of creamers and sugar dispensers that I've collected over the past few years.

Cars Galore Series !

I put together a group of these small (4" x 4") paintings of vintage cars. These are fun and nostalgic to paint. I thought it would be interesting to group them together.

New Work: Carpenters Hand Drill: Vicini

My wife's Grandfather's old hand drill. This drill is surprisingly heavy and solid. I really enjoy the old wooded handle and solid frame.

I found these tools really cool. All used for some sort of measurement. I picked these tools out at a garage sale. These tools are one of my favorites.

New Work: Grandfathers Saw

This is the seventh painting in my latest project. This saw belonged to my wife's Grandmother. This is oil on canvas 24" x 30". I am preparing for a possible new show next year. This painting will be part of that exhibition.

New Work: Dad's Router

This is the sixth painting in my latest project. This beaten down router belongs to my father. The 82 year old still works as a carpenter and was a master at his craft in his prime. It was always a joy watching him work. This is oil on canvas 16" x 20". I am preparing for a possible new show next year. This painting will be part of that exhibition.

This is the fifth painting in my latest project. This old clamp belongs to my father. He has been a carpenter for just about his entire life. I just love those old vintage tools. Glass with Lime and Lemon Still Life Painting

I've not posted many paintings in the past few weeks because I have started a new body of work that I am pretty excited about. The paintings are much larger and the technique is very expressive for me. I hope to complete around 15 to 20 pieces and hopefully get a chance to exhibit them. Periodically, I will post a few to give you a glimpse.

Robots Crate Painting

A few weeks back I was channel surfing and came across 'Lost in Space'. I remember how much I used to love that show as a kid. After watching that for a few minutes I thought it would be fun to add a Robot to one of my crate paintings. So here it is....lol
