Two Corns ! Still Life for Up Coming Show

I completed this small painting (9" x 12" on canvas) last week. It is being shipped to the Elliott Fouts Gallery tomorrow for my opening with David Lobenberg February 2010. I am very fortunate to have the luxury to work with Elliott who has given me this opportunity to exhibit my new work. In this day and age with the economy the way it is, I am honored to being given a chance to showcase some of my work. If you want to see a peek of the show contact the Gallery and they will make arrangements to send you some of images that will be on display.

Opening at the Miller Gallery

The opening of the 'Holiday Show - size matters" at the Miller Gallery in Cincinnati, OH is tonight. I was hoping to make it but I have family over for the Holiday and am unable to drop in. I hope to post some pictures from the opening later next week. I hope to make a visit maybe in December. There are some great paintings by some talented artist.

Hi Jump Crate Still Life with Creamer and Grapes

Painting heading out to the Elliott Fouts Gallery next week.

Family Circle - Pots and Pans

I recently completed this large canvas painting (24" x 24") for the Miller Gallery. I had fun with the comics (you have to look really close but its there). I have several smaller paintings with this type of theme going to the Elliott Fouts Gallery for my exhibition in February. Hope to post those images larger next week.

I got this idea going through some old kitchen pots and pans at an estate sale. The woman who lived in this old house in the outskirts of Detroit used old newspaper and comics as a lining for her cabinets and drawers. Hence this painting.

Pomegranate and Senorita Still Life

Apple and Jacks of Cards

"Apple and Jacks of Cards"

This large canvas painting will be included in my February Show at the Elliott Fouts Gallery....a sneak preview I guess.

Sping Toy on Melon Top Crate

This spinning top was one of my sons favorite toys as a child. I was going through some of his toys awhile ago and found so many interesting objects to paint.

By the way, my cats are intrigued by this spinning toy -freaks them out a little.

This 12" x 12" painting on canvas will be included in my show in February at the Elliott Fouts Gallery.

Jolly Rabbit Crate Painting !

This is my forth crate painting. I just couldn't pass up this old jolly Rabbit crate image. I decided to show the age of this old crate with more detail and texture.

Oil on canvas 12" x 16".

Buckaroo Crate Apple Painting !

This is my second crate painting that I recently completed. I thought is would be fun to paint this old buck! Fun indeed.

Cherry season in Michigan and I can't resist the temptation for cherry pie. My wife and I have been busy picking raspberries and strawberries the last few weeks. Cars Galore Series !

I put together a group of these small (4" x 4") paintings of vintage cars. These are fun and nostalgic to paint. I thought it would be interesting to group them together.

New Work: Carpenters Hand Drill: Vicini

My wife's Grandfather's old hand drill. This drill is surprisingly heavy and solid. I really enjoy the old wooded handle and solid frame.

New Work by Vicini

I found these tools really cool. All used for some sort of measurement. I picked these tools out at a garage sale. These tools are one of my favorites.
